Sir Francis Drake was born on 1540 in Tavistock ,Devonshire.When he was 20 he sailed with his cousin Sir John Hawkins,to Guinea on the west coast of africa to obtain slaves . Sir Francis Drake was revended to spanish. Sir Francis Drake hated the spanish because they claimed the pacific ocean to their selfs. So Sir Francis Drake made a voyage around the world so the english people could sail on the Pacific Ocean. His first stop was on Asia,then Africa,and later South America, and his last voyage was North America. When he came back to Engaland he had to fight the spanish armada. When he finished fighting the spanish armada Engaland won.On 1596 Sir Francis Drake got dysentery and died.
